What is an exhibition?
     Exhibition is a public display of art.

What venues would be suitable?
     Museum, galleries and exhibition halls, and World's fair

What media could I use?
     Human making like paintings, drawings, sculpture, video installations, sound installations

Who are the stakeholders?
     Artist, industry, sponsor

What resources are needed?
     Money, boards, electronics materials, and audio equipment 

How do I promote?
     Promote by advertising, posters, radio, television, and leaflets.

Where can I get more info on exhibition?
     You can get the information of the exhibition by promoting like poster and advertising. In the     exhibition, if you would like to know more information, you can contact the information, the industry who organize the exhibition or the artist directly.

Exhibition is an event to collect display different art. The event was created to reach specific goals and respond the participants need. 

There are many types of exhibition such as art exhibition, A juried exhibition, In an invitational exhibition, An open or "non-juried" exhibition, etc.



Interesting exhibitions in Darwin
In every year, many interesting exhibitions are organized in Darwin but not many people know about it.  Even though I have been in Darwin nearly one year, I have never known that Darwin always has good exhibitions and I missed it. Here are some interesting exhibition which going to organize soon and I do not want anyone to miss it.

Dragonfly Craft Fair (Fannie Bay Events - Exhibitions  22 Jul 2012)
"Discover unique hand-made items while enjoying the views of Darwin's harbour. Territory Craft, located in the museum grounds, is the venue for the annual Dragonfly Craft Fair. Share stories and experiences, and talk to the people who make the unique items on display and on sale. Capture your creativity by enrolling in a workshop that Territory Craft organises." (totaltravel, 2012) The exhibition will start at10am to 3pm on 22 Jul 2012.

Royal Darwin Show (Winnellie Events - Exhibitions  26 Jul 2012 - 28 Jul 2012)
This is one of the most popular event in Darwin. You can see a grand parade of livestock and machinery. "Visitors can enjoy equestrian events, sideshow rides, varied live entertainment and a wide assortment of food and drink stalls that reflect the multicultural nature of Darwin."(totaltravel, 2012)


 Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (Darwin Events - Exhibitions  10 Aug 2012 - 12 Aug 2012)
"The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair will provide a unique artistic experience for all lovers of indigenous art and culture, representing over 30 community arts centres from across Australia, including Arnhem Land, the Kimberley Region, Central Australia, the Torres Strait Islands and Victoria.
