1. Describe the relationship between complexity and simplicity
·        The simplicity in design makes the complexity appear in obvious form. By comparing the difference between complexity and simplicity help us to appreciate things better.
2. What analogy does Maeda use to demonstrate this relationship?
·       iPod has a very simple design if you compare to other MP3 or MP4 but the internal is complex.
3. In what context does Maeda discuss rhythm / beat in relation to the fifth law Contextualise this relationship and discuss how this can be used in relation to the Student Exhibition - giving specific examples
·       The rhythm and the beat are mixing the complexity and simplicity together. From the example about iPod which has a simple design but internal is complex. It let me think about my work that I’m going to make in the exhibition “Pop up book”. I have to use complexity and simplicity in my theme to make my book look more interesting, not boring, not too simple, and not too complex.
4. HOMEWORK: Find visual examples - pieces of design & multimedia work that demonstrate the relationship between simplicity and complexity – post the results on your blog, with contextual analysis and reflection

This work let me think about my work which I already answer in the answer no.3 about my pop up book. Here is the example of pop up book which demonstrate the relationship between simplicity and complexity. 
·      When we look at these kind of book, out side it is a simple book which we can see generally but the special thing is when you open it. In side the pop up book is composed by many prices of paper and it is the complex thing. It is a very good and complex work which need a lot of preparing and planing to make it.
